Brother Magnuson was born June 2nd, 1933, and passed November 19th, 2022, at 89 years old. Brother Magnuson was initiated into Local 296 on September 22nd, 1955, and then retired from the trade on June 30th, 1998. Brother Magnuson had over 67 years of service at the time of his passing and was a UA life member with a Gold Membership card. He worked for many years of his career and was an instructor too. Brother Magnuson always stood up for apprentices and defended them when needed. He would always explain things so you could understand them. He would also take time to teach you about the trade and about unions and how they worked before Heritage classes.
