Brother Larry W. Yardley Building Trades Journeyman Pipefitter UA Card #1214021 Brother Yardley was born on July 31st, 1954 and passed May 11th, 2021 at the age of 66. Brother Yardley was initiated into local 296 on January 10th, 2001 and remained a member in good standing for 20 years. His passion for teaching was realized in 2013 when he became an instructor for the local JATC and graduated from the UA Instructor Training Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition to his contributions in the classroom, Brother Yardley was elected for two consecutive terms as Recording Secretary of local 296 and to the local 296 Examining Board in January 2019 until his passing. Brother Yardley also represented local 296 for many years at the annual Idaho State Afl-Cio Annual Convention. Brother Yardley’s years of service and contributions to the Idaho Labor Movement, Local 296 as well as the plumbing and pipefitting trade will continue to benefit workers for generations to come. May you rest in peace Brother, as we continue to honor your legacy and mourn the loss of a dear friend and brother. |
