Brother Edward Loren Bissonette Building Trades Pipefitter UA Card #871542 Brother Bissonette passed away peacefully at his home in Moore, Idaho on September 3rd, 2021 at the age of 85. He was born on December 19th, 1935 in Flint, Michigan. Brother Bissonette joined local 296 on April 4th, 1962 as a Building Trades Plumber where he worked for many different contractors over the years until his retirement on December 12th, 1999. He was awarded a 50-year Gold Membership Card as a Life Member on April 26th, 2012, along with his 25,30,35,40,45,50 and 55-year service pins for his 58 years of impeccable service along the way. Ed and his wife Carma lived in many places in Oregon and Idaho. While in Oregon, he was the proud owner of Oakridge Plumbing Company. Brother Bissonette was a proud member of local 296. The trade gave him and Carma the opportunity to travel around the country and live in many places throughout the US. As they both loved to travel, this suited them both well before settling in Moore, Idaho. Brother Bissonette loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid photographer, which gave him the opportunity to capture the special moments during him and Carma’s adventures. We thank Brother Bissonette for his contributions to local 296 and keep his family in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace. |
