Brother Robert J. Caple was born September 1^st, 1953 and initiated into UA Local 296 on August 24^th, 1972, where he served his apprenticeship and turned out on April 5^th, 1977. Brother Caple worked throughout his career here at home as well as traveling across the country. Brother Caple served local 296 throughout his career as an officer and an Executive Board member. Brother Caples contributions have undoubtedly shaped the future of local 296 as we know it today. His service record included 46 years until his death from an aneurysm at the age of 65.
